“We have a choice. We can spend our whole life suffering because we can’t relax with how things really are, or we can relax and embrace the open-endedness of the human situation, which is fresh, unfixated, unbiased.” -Pema Chodron

– thai yoga –
2,500 years ago a dynamic and unique healing system based on yoga and Ayurveda practices, appeared in the temples of Thailand. This therapeutic art was directly rooted in the Indian healing traditions of Ayurvedic medicine.
My sessions are a unique blend of my years of practice, training and teaching of yoga, meditation and breath work. In each one-on-one Thai Yoga session, I guide you through a series of assisted yoga postures, while compressing and stretching along the body’s energy (Sen) lines and pressure points. Together the act of compression and stretching result in a comprehensive full body treatment that relieves muscular tension, improves circulation, boosts the immune system and balances the body energetically.
Thai Yoga is performed on a mat on the floor; both client and practitioner are dressed in comfortable clothing allowing ease of movement and flexibility. A thai session is delicious as well as deeply healing and relaxing.

– meditation is the act of being –
“When you sit upright but relaxed in the posture of meditation, your heart is naked. Your entire being is exposed – to yourself, first of all, but to others as well. So, through the practice of sitting still and following your breath as it goes out and dissolves, you are connecting with your heart.” -Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche
Life is hectic, chaotic and full of ups and downs. Being human, we cannot escape this unpredictable ocean of experience, and thank goodness! It’s what makes life so beautiful…and uncomfortable. But if we can train ourselves through the act of sitting still to be more open and accepting of our experience, we can learn how to surf instead of trying so desperately to stop the waves.
I am delighted to offer both group and private mediation instruction. For current group sessions please visit the “live events” page. For one-on-one meditation instruction please email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
